Availability:

I work in private practice on Mondays and Tuesdays offering both telehealth and in person appointments. Unfortunately I am currently not taking new clients.

Telehealth:

I offer telehealth appointments via Zoom. To access these, clients must have a private, uninterrupted space for the duration of the session, and reliable internet connection. I have been using telehealth since 2016 so am quite comfortable offering telehealth support for most types of presenting challenges, however, if unsure please reach out to discuss further.

Medicare rebates:

Up to 10 Medicare rebates per calendar year are available for those with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from their GP prior to their appointment. The rebate to see a clinical psychologist is $136.35. 

Private health rebates:

Some private health funds also offer rebates for psychology services, however, the rebate amount depends on the fund and level of cover. Please contact your health fund for more information. (NB: In most cases, all 10 Medicare sessions must be used up before someone is eligible to claim sessions under private health).

Payment of session fees:

Payment for sessions is taken prior to the appointment via bank transfer. I am able to provide support for the processing of Medicare rebates after the appointment. 

Fees:

$230 per session ($93.65 out of pocket with a MHCP)

(NB: $50 late cancellation fees apply to cancellations on the day of the appointment).

COVID Policy:

If I am testing positive to COVID-19 or have any cold/flu symptoms, I will cancel the session or switch to telehealth as a precaution, and I ask that my clients do the same. I sanitise my office after every in person session as a precaution.

Accessibility:

My office is on the first level of the building and unfortunately there is no lift. My waiting room requires a PIN to access, which I provide prior to the appointment via text. If you have any concerns about your ability to physically access the office, please reach out to discuss.
