I created the MyMind blog so that anyone, anywhere in the world, can find out what psychology teaches about living the best life possible. Often we see our mind as a challenging part of us that needs to be better controlled or altered. I have learned that this is rarely the case. Often this attitude is the result of a profound misunderstanding about the function of our mind. I have learned that, through understanding and curiosity, we can live better with our pain, and our mind can become our friend.
